Fender Flares

I took my new Xrs out for the first time and I have to wonder if the engineers ever thought that the users would ever take these things out in the mud.

Now I wasn't mud bogging the thing, just trail riding. Me and my passenger got pretty muddy and the Mav had mud everywhere. I spent nearly the same amount of time cleaning the thing as I did driving it. I actually felt bad to get this thing so muddy its first time out.

I hope someone out there is listening and can make some good fender flares.

Ok, seriously, there has got to be a solution. I had about 300 to 400 pounds of mud I had to clean off today after visiting Mines and Meadows in Pennsylvania. It took 2 hours to get it mostly clean. If a solution isn't available then this thing will be parked for a while until the spring thaw drys out. Now I don't expect the thing to look clean after going through mud, but having 2" plus of mud covering the entire the passenger seat is unacceptable. I am hoping that doors, a roof and a half windshield will help keep the brunt of the mud out of the cab. It's tough to have fun in the mud knowing that that an extensive cleanup awaits when I get home.

Were these thing designed for sand only?

Somebody please make some fender flares.

Ok, here is a photo. Just some trail riding, nothing more.

The doors and roof help a little. I still got covered today. All the snow is melting, it's a mess everywhere

Can't wait for flares

I'm surprised there are no aftermarket products yet. Are there no compatible flares from other models we can use instead?

We'll say if u find mud it's gonna be on you! My buddy got these gay looking bat wing fender flares off eBay they work a little but seem cheap and look so so bad! I'll take getting muddy every day then putting them on mine!!! Just drive fast and spray your plastics with Pam or WD-40 before you go for a ride if its muddy will help a little.

fenders for maverick xrs

Hey guys, Ive got Maverick xrs 2013 and i just found some fenders tonight on E-bay. They are ordered but i will only receive them in a week so not sure if they are actually great but im willing to give them a try. Not shure if they will look good but if it keeps the mud away until they build some nice one !!

Look them up on google : Maverick fender flares extender by mudbuster
